Our History

The Dodge Veterinary clinic was founded in 1957 by Dr. Hanson. By 1964, Dr. Moe joined Dr. Hanson. As the practice grew, they formed a partnership with the Hayfield office in 1965. By 1978, the practice has grown from a one doctor practice to a multi-doctor practice with 6 veterinarians serving in three locations in Hayfield, Dodge Center, and West Concord. In 1979 Dr. Mett joined us and worked at the West Concord office. The Hayfield office left in 1980. Dr. Perau came to practice in 1992, Dr. Herberg joined in 1995, and Dr. Krupa in 1997. In 1999, the Carriage House Animal Hospital in Kasson merged with us. The clinic moved to our current location in 2002.
